The FIFA 18 webapp release is about a month away, so we need to start planning what squads we will be aiming for in the beginning. The Premier League will probably be the most used league again in FUT 18, so I’ve decided to select a perfect and cheap starting squad that you should try and get in FIFA 18.

Willy Caballero: Chelsea’s new backup keeper will be a cheap option at the start of FIFA 18 because people will try and get higher rated goalkeepers such as Butland and Pickford, who I think will be too expensive at the start. The goalkeeper is an important position in the higher divisions in FIFA, but in the lower divisions, it’s more about outscoring your opponent.

Andrew Robertson: The Scottish left back will be a great defender for your premier league team. Robertson could have about 83 pace. The faster left backs will cost a lot more because pace is key when it comes to fullbacks. Robertson’s 83 pace combined with at least 70 passing will also make him a dangerous overlapping left back.

Nathan Aké: After having a great loan spell at the Cherries before being brought back by Antonio Conte, Nathan Aké has now joined Bournemouth on a permanent deal. The Dutch centreback will be a low rated gold this year with around 78 pace and a starter in many starter teams. The only problem I can see is that EA might make him a left back, other options for his position will be Zouma and Zanka Jorgensen.

Jaïro Riedewald: Another quick and left-footed centreback from the Netherlands. The former Ajax player will be able to play some great high balls to the attack with his 70+ passing.

Danilo: We all want Kyle Walker or Nathaniel Clyne at the start of FIFA for our PL team but we will have to settle for someone a bit slower. For me, Danilo is the perfect option. With around 80 pace and other all rounded stats, he will be important in defence and extremely dangerous going forward.

Will Hughes: I am a big fan of having a left-footed player at the left side of the pitch and a right-footed player at the right side of the pitch, especially in defence and the midfield. The English youngster will be a great and cheap playmaker with his passing and dribbling in the high 70’s.

Mohamed Elneny: In a 4-3-2-1 the middle centre midfielder should always be your most defensive one. Mohamed Elneny won’t bring a lot going forward but will be the perfect wall right in front of your defence with around 77 defending and 80 physical.

Mario Lemina: To be honest we all know Lemina as the only decent player outside of the Bundesliga you could link up with Aubameyang, but now he has transferred to Southampton. So apart from you now being able to link Aubameyang with your favourite strikers from the Premier League, he will also be a cheap all-round midfielder with all of his stats 70 or higher.

Jesé Rodriguez: One of most exciting youngsters at Real Madrid until he got injured by Sead Kolasinac. After failing at PSG and Las Palmas he has now joined Stoke City. With his 4-star skill moves and 85+ pace, he will be a lethal threat going forward.

Nathan Redmond:  I think we are going to see a big upgrade for the former Norwich city player. With his high dribbling and decent passing, he will be a great crosser of the ball, but he can also cut inside with his 4-star skill moves to blast it in the back of the net with his right foot.

Tammy Abraham: An even bigger upgrade I’m expecting for Chelsea-Loanee Tammy Abraham. Being 6″2″ and having 80+ pace he will be able to score headers but also score quick goals on the counter, other options for the striker position is newly transferred Choupo-Moting (Stoke City) and Danny Ings (Liverpool).

What do you think about this Premier League starter team? Who will you want to get in FUT 18? Let us know in the comments!
